Terms of Service
Bonnet is a desktop automation product. You are responsible for reviewing any generated script before running it, especially when a button requests System or Full Access permissions.
Use of the product
You may use Bonnet for lawful personal or business automation. You may not use the service to distribute malware, violate computer access laws, or automate actions you do not have authority to perform.
Generated scripts
AI-generated scripts can be wrong, incomplete, or unsafe. Bonnet provides previews and permission prompts, but you remain responsible for what you execute on your machine.
Full Access disclaimer
Full Access mode is equivalent to running an unrestricted script in your terminal. By confirming that mode, you accept responsibility for the resulting actions and changes on your system.
Purchase & refunds
Bonnet is sold as a one-time purchase billed by Stripe at the price shown during checkout. There is no subscription and nothing renews. Your license key is delivered after checkout and unlocks the app on your machine. To request a refund, email hello@bonnet.app; refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis, and a refunded or charged-back purchase may have its license deactivated.
Bonnet accounts and sync
A Bonnet account is optional. The desktop app can be activated with a license key alone, and the browser version can be used without signing in. If you create an account, you are responsible for the security of the Google or GitHub account you sign in with. One license may be linked to one Bonnet account.
Library sync is off until you turn it on. While it is on, the buttons you sync — including their scripts — are stored on Bonnet’s servers so that they are available on your other signed-in devices. Keep your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose; the app can export your whole library to a file at any time. You may turn sync off or delete your buttons at any point, and we may remove stored data for accounts that have been inactive for an extended period after notifying the address on the account.
AI provider accounts
AI generation in Bonnet uses your own AI provider API key (for example Anthropic or OpenAI). Your use of that provider, including any usage charges it bills you, is governed by your agreement with the provider. Bonnet does not sell or meter AI compute.
